Shipping Policy

At Klayful, we carefully pack and ship each handmade piece with great attention to safety and detail. Please read the following shipping terms before placing your order.

 

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 3–10 business days unless otherwise stated.

As our products are handmade, certain items may require additional production time. If there are any delays beyond the stated processing time, we will notify you via email.

Processing time refers to order preparation and packaging and does not include shipping time.

 

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We use trusted courier services for both local and international shipping.

Estimated delivery times after dispatch:

  • South Africa: 2–7 business days

  • International orders: 7–21 business days (depending on destination and customs clearance)

Please note that delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including courier delays, weather conditions, or customs processing.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.

Customers are responsible for any additional charges such as:

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Local handling fees charged by the destination country

These charges are not included in our shipping fees and are the responsibility of the customer.

 

International Shipping

We ship internationally to selected countries.

International customers are responsible for ensuring that imported ceramics are allowed in their country.

Klayful is not responsible for:

  • Customs delays or inspections

  • Confiscation of goods by customs authorities

  • Additional import taxes or fees

 

Order Tracking

Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email.

Tracking updates are managed by the courier service and may take up to 24–48 hours to become active.

 

Delivery Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that:

  • The shipping address provided is complete and accurate

  • The delivery location is secure and accessible

We are not responsible for:

  • Lost parcels due to incorrect address information

  • Delays caused by courier services

  • Failed delivery attempts due to customer unavailability

 

Lost, Delayed, or Damaged Parcels

Once an order has been handed over to the courier, Klayful is not liable for loss or delay.

However, if your parcel arrives damaged, please refer to our Return & Refund Policy and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will assist you in lodging a claim with the courier where applicable.

 

Undeliverable or Returned Parcels

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect address

  • Refused delivery

  • Unpaid customs fees

  • Failure to collect from courier or customs

the order is not eligible for a refund.

If you request reshipment, additional shipping costs will apply.
